Campsies after Rain

The Camspie Fells, a small mountain range north of Glasgow has always been a muse of mine. My father's is Scottish and generations of his family have grown up and worked on Bencloich Farm which is located directly between Lennoxtown and the Campsie Fell Mountain Range. These mountains are one of my favourite places to paint and I look forward to my annual visits to the family farm. I painted this watercolour during the pandemic when I was unable to visit and I had an extreme sense of homesickness for the other place I call home.
