During a road trip around the west coast of Ireland in July 2024, I had the pleasure of staying in a reimagined shed behind Benbulbin. I was instantly in awe of the table-topped mountain and knew I wanted to paint it. I love to paint landscapes that have a special meaning to me and Bebulbin definitely makes the cut. This piece is one of my favourites and I associate it with a time of change and growth in my own life.
